Lawyers dream of presenting cases to the United States Supreme Court. For over 200 years, only a small handful of lawyers have made it that far. There are even fewer clients who can say their own lawyer is an attorney who has been before the United States Supreme Court. Indeed Mr. Steinberg’s cases which have been presented to the United States Supreme Court now appear in law books as legal precedent in both the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Nazgole Hashemi
Immediately out of law school, Nazgole began her legal career focusing on business and real estate transactions and continues to regularly assist business startups, small to mid-sized businesses and entrepreneurs. Nazgole’s practice also includes civil litigation and appellate advocacy. Nazgole is a tenacious litigator who has served as lead counsel on many significant cases and has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including jury trials and appeals. Her areas of practice include labor and employment, business, commercial, product liability, personal injury and civil rights law. Nazgole was named a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2020. Nazgole graduated with a full scholarship from Southwestern Law School, where she currently serves as an adjunct professor for Securities Regulation, a course which focuses on private and public securities offerings and investments. During law school, Nazgole served as a writer on the Moot Court Honors Program and also received various awards, including the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Analysis, Writing, and Skills (Appellate Advocacy), Brief Finalist Writer Award, and Public Interest Grant. Prior to law school, Nazgole attended UC Berkeley, where she graduated at just 19 years old. During her undergraduate studies, Nazgole served as the co-founder and instructor of an Ethnic Studies course for one year.
Nazgole is fluent in Farsi and conversational French.

Tannaz Hashemi
Tannaz specializes in both legal transactions as well as litigation. She has extensive litigation experience as lead counsel in many cases involving complex business law, real estate, labor and employment and significant personal injury and product liability matters. Tannaz is particularly an avid fighter in labor and employment cases and has vast experience with legal matters relating to disputes in the workplace, housing, and public accommodations. In addition, Tannaz complements her litigation skills with her vast knowledge and experience in business and real estate
transactions and intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright registration and protection. Tannaz was named a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2020 and continues to excel in providing top quality legal representation. Tannaz also provides pro bono services to the community by regularly representing caregivers in the foster care system through the Alliance for Children’s Rights, in addition to other public interest work, which she finds extremely gratifying. Tannaz graduated with a full scholarship from Southwestern Law School in 2013 and obtained her undergraduate degree in English Literature from UC Berkeley. Tannaz is fluent in Farsi.
